My Story

Jabesh Nag is 12 years old and studies in Class 7. He comes from Hatisal Para in Bolangir District. His father is a mason and his mother is a housewife. He has one brother. Life at home was very challenging—his father used alcohol daily and did not focus on the family or the children’s education. Schools were far, and there were no proper facilities for studying.

When Jabesh came to Naba Asha, his life changed. He now enjoys discipline, quality education, and good food while living in the hostel with other children.

Jabesh’s favorite subject is Odia, and he dreams of becoming an athlete one day. With the guidance and support at Naba Asha, Jabesh is steadily working toward achieving his dream.
