Nurse
In the little village of Sikuli, Kalahandi, Suhana Senapati wakes up every day with a spark in her eyes and a heart full of dreams. As the youngest of three siblings, she watches her father work tirelessly as a mason and her mother manage the home with gentle strength. Life is not always easy, but Suhana has learned to turn challenges into stepping stones. At just 7th grade, she’s already a force to be reckoned with—zipping across the sports field, leaping in long jump and high jump, her laughter echoing across the village. Books fascinate her too, especially Odia, and she loves losing herself in the pages of the Bible. But what truly fuels her is her dream: to become a nurse, to care for others, and to bring hope and comfort to her family and community. When she’s not studying or playing, Suhana can be found planting tiny saplings, watering them patiently, and imagining the trees growing as tall as her dreams. With your support, this bright, determined, and compassionate girl can turn her dreams into reality, and maybe one day, inspire an entire village with her courage and care. |
