Arpita Bhoi comes from the village of Behera Mal, Dunguripali, in Sonepur. She is the youngest of two children. Her father works hard as a farmer, and her mother manages the home. Though the family faces financial struggles, Arpita continues to study with determination and holds on to her dreams for the future. A quiet yet strong-willed Class 8 student, Arpita has a dream that sets her apart: she wants to become a police officer. She imagines a life where she can uphold law and order, protect her community, and support her family with pride. Though introverted, her curiosity and determination shine through in her love for learning English, reading the Bible, and reflecting on her favorite Psalm 23:1-2. In her free moments, Arpita enjoys simple joys—playing house, savoring rice, dal, and greens, and spending time in church. Beneath her quiet demeanor lies a strong personality and an unshakable will to grow, learn, and make a difference. With your support, Arpita’s courage and dreams can turn into a future of strength, service, and hope—for her family and her community.
