Civils Engineer
|
In the village of Sikuli in Kandhamal District, lives a hardworking and ambitious boy named Birupkhya Digal. He is 17 years old and studying in Class 11. His father works as a daily laborer, his mother is a housewife, and he has one sister and one brother. Life in his village was very challenging—there were no proper facilities for education, many people around were addicted to alcohol, and the family lived below the poverty line. When Birupkhya came to Naba Asha, his life changed completely. Here, he found a safe and supportive environment where he could study well, live with discipline, enjoy daily devotions, physical exercise, and good food, and grow alongside other children in the hostel. Birupkhya’s favorite subject is History, and he dreams of becoming a civil engineer one day. He hopes to build a better future for himself and his family. With the opportunities and guidance at Naba Asha, Birupkhya is steadily working toward turning his dream into reality.
