Mikhael Bag, born on 23 January 2017, is a Class 5 student from Balangir, Odisha. He comes from a loving family with his father working as a daily labourer, his mother caring for the home, and one brother and one sister. Before coming to Naba Asha, Mikhael faced limited access to quality education in his village. Life changed when he joined Naba Asha, where he found a place that encourages him to learn, grow, and dream. He especially enjoys going to school and has developed healthy routines, such as going to bed early and waking up early. Maths is Mikhael’s favourite subject, particularly addition and subtraction. Looking ahead, he dreams of becoming a pastor because he wants to pray for everyone and serve others through his faith. One of Mikhael’s happiest memories at Naba Asha is celebrating his birthday with the people around him. For him, Naba Asha is more than a place to study. It is a place where he is learning to build a better future, one day at a time. His dream is simple: to grow in faith, become a pastor, and pray for others. |
